It has been a long time since I have posted anything here, but things are still happening. I have updated a few things around the site and forum that were previously falling behind, and doing a couple of other minor touch-ups to the site. It has been somewhat slow lately as far as new material being added to the site, but I'm in the process now of adding some new stuff. Also, I noticed a couple of unfinished projects here and on my computer that I am going to finish.
One of those projects is the article on transportation. Somehow I forgot about it and left it half done, so now I will complete it. Of course, all articles are kind of an ongoing project, as soon as new information or techniques come along, or questions are raised about articles they will be updated. So really nothing is ever truly complete. So anyway, just keeping things up-to-date.

Spore Released, Sims 3 Next
Well, as of today Spore has now been fully released all around the world. It has been a long time coming, considering it has been in development for at least 4 years. So far, most of the reviews have been calling it an overall good game, and most players agree. Spore has been anticipated to sell 2 million copies - only time will tell now if that will come true.
With Spore now on store shelves, the next thing to watch out for in the Sim community is The Sims 3. It was announed on August 20th that TS3 is slated for a February 20, 2009 release. Unlike the previous Sims games, The Sims 3 will feature a seamless neighborhood based play, where everyone and everything is controlled and interacts with each other in full neighborhood view, so that now a Sim can walk out of his house and across the street to his neighbor's, then ride into town for coffee all on the same screen. Not only that, but all of the other Sims in town will also be actively engaging in their lives, meaning the entire community interacts with itself in real time. Pretty amazing stuff. There are tons of other new things as well, but you can head over to the official TS3 site to get the full scoop: www.thesims3.com

Downloads Improved
I think it is worth mentioning that I have now changed the downloads section here on the site. There are now individual pages for each city instead of having them all show up on one page, that got too messy. It is much cleaner and better looking now, so it will be easier to download cities. While I'm on that note, you should check out the new map created by zilla352, which you can find here.

Even More Stuff
Alright, today is the end of July, and what a good day it's been! I have managed to get quite a few things up and going on the site today. Among those, I have posted 3 new articles; Tips On Saving Simoleons, Fixing Unemployment, and Getting Big Business. I will complete the traffic article shortly,
and I still have a couple others waiting to be finished as well. I also added a new download that is available in the downloads section. Plus, in the not-so-distant future I am planning on getting a few new current screenshots of some of the new SimCity games, including SimCity Societies, which I suprisingly haven't posted any of yet. And, there is a new poll to be voted in, and there will be even more stuff coming very soon!
Also, don't forget to check out the forum while you're here!
